Backstory

Following decades of journalistic, commercial, and wedding photography, Executive Producer Patricia Braine became interested in film production during the late 1980s. In 1990 she formed Silver Images Wedding Videography as a sideline business. In 1999, while attending Hollywood Film Institute, Braine pondered how she might combine her background with weddings, her passion for fashion and photojournalism, and her love of filmmaking upon returning to her Vermont home. This new perspective led to a fundamental upgrade of Silver Images as a business.

To capture the beauty and emotion of the real love story, in the same way movie audiences experience a highly produced cinematic feature film, Braine understood she needed camera operators and editors with film backgrounds. She began hiring exceptional, professor-recommended college students from Vermont's top cinema-studies programs. The most recently acquired talent, Heather Beliveau, joined the team in 2006 and has shown drive and talent in all aspects of the work.

Braine has also teamed up with filmmaker and wedding designer/planner Riki Bowen. In Bowen, Braine found yet another key collaborator and expanded the range of services offered to include wedding design that not only helps coordinate your wedding with your wedding video to produce an stunning visual document, but also brings elegance and beauty to the day itself.
